Meet Steve Carr
I’m Steve Carr, your host for Generous Investor conversations. A native of Indiana, I have been a professional investor for more than 28 years, the last 15 of which have been at Peloton Capital Management, where I’m one of the principals. I manage private client portfolios as well as Peloton’s hedge fund. What gets me up in the morning? My dog. But after that it’s managing money for generous people. I’ve been married to Lisa for 27 years and we have four wonderful children together. I love wilderness backpacking and am a certified national park nut.

Investing can be tricky.
Understanding and prioritizing opportunities is challenging, and so is avoiding mistakes due to misplaced fear and greed.
02
Giving well isn't easy either.
Which organizations should I support? How can I give in a tax-smart way? Moreover, most people are reluctant to speak about their giving practices. Yes, it’s noble to give quietly but anonymity is a poor guide for those wanting to become better.
03
Helping people both invest and give better.
The Generous Investor podcast aims to be an information hub, helping people both invest and give better. Through conversations with vetted investing, tax, and legal experts as well as trusted non-profit organizations and donors, the Generous Investor will equip people at this intersection to be more confident, wiser investors and donors.
